Hotel Margaritas Cancun, Cancun

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were comfortable and had air conditioning, which was a plus. The secured parking was convenient, and the staff were all very nice. However, the room was full of mosquitos and the air conditioning was noisy, making the room too humid if turned off. The bathroom water had a terrible smell, and the location near the garden attracted mosquitos.

The hotel had decent and clean rooms with 2 double beds, air conditioning, and a TV for background noise while getting ready at 8:00 am. The service was friendly and courteous overall, despite some language barriers and notably rude staff members. The location wasn't great but was very quiet and convenient for accessing key areas like Puerto Cancun and the hotel zone. The dining options were not the best, leading us to explore alternatives nearby. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory.

As a layover between flying into Cancun and catching the ferry to Isla Mujeres, the hotel is perfect for people who travel late afternoon or evening. We opted to pass on dining at the hotel mainly for the great Cafe con Leche at a nearby establishment. The facilities were adequate for a short stay.
